BIG ‘OL CATS!--Bo Stanford of Corrigan shows the nine big cat sh, weighing up to 10.5 pounds, he caught Monday morn- ing while  shing in the Trinity River below Lake Livingston Dam. He caught them on a rod and reel using worms and added one big white bass to the catch. (Staff photo)

Rex Minter of Livingston shows some more of the beautiful bass being caught in the waters of Lake Livingston. These were taken from the Penwaugh Slough area on spinners.
GEORGE AND THE LARGEST--George Summerlin Jr., proudly shows off this black beauty he caught Feb. 18th. George caught this baby on chrome black back pin sh bait and it weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz., largest caught out of his marina last week. (Summerlin Marina photo)
Mrs. Floyd Stowe of Corrigan looks as if she might be having a tough struggle lifting her basket of white perch and bass. You can be sure that Mrs. Stowe found the trouble well worth her time and effort. This load weighed over 15 pounds.

WHITES ARE SCHOOLING AT WHITE ROCK--Preston White  shed off the White Rock Bridge to load up on whites last Wednesday evening. That’s a mess of whites.
COUNTY AGENT Richard Morris limited out on Blue Mann jelly worms. He  shed out of Kickapoo Marina.
HOUSTON OILER Curly Culp (left) holds his string of white bass with Dr. Roger Sweet. The two TOPWATER IN JUNGLE--Roy Hinson of Trinity landed this 4.5 pound black bass in The Jungle  shermen caught the whites with white slabs in 15 feet of water last Tuesday.
